McNett Aquamira Water Filter Straw

Product Description:

McNett Aquamira Frontier Emergency Water Filter System.  Removes 99.9% of harmful Cryptosporidium, Giardia.  The activated carbon reduces waterborne chemicals and improves water taste.  Weighs less than 1 oz. Ideal for hiking, traveling and emergency preparedness.  A perfect addition to an emergency kit.  Filters up to 20 gallons.  Easily slips into day pack, waist pack or travel luggage.  Useful as a back up on multi-day backpacking trips.  Provides the ability to drink directly from any water bottle, cap or directly from water sources.

BEFORE USING:
To remove harmless carbon dust on initial use, draw water halfway up straw, remove straw and discard water, then re-attach straw and drink normally. 

DIRECTIONS:  Expand straw and attach wide end firmly onto filter outlet. Fill bottle or cup from water source, insert filter and drink from straw.  Do not submerge drinking straw into contaminated water.  Allow filter to air dry for 48 hours before storing.
